      Ponderosa Campground is family owned and operated since 1979 by the Kelleher family. Our campground is small and back to nature.
       We are within minutes of the Avalon and Stone Harbor beaches,
which we offer beach tag rentals for.
       We are also close to the Cape May County Zoo, which is a beautiful,
well maintained zoo with not only animals but flower displays
and picnic and play areas.
       Wildwood is 20 minutes away with beaches, boardwalks, and amusements.
      Cape May is just below Wildwood. It has a lighthouse, beaches,
restored Victorian houses, and shopping areas.
Ponderosa Tent Site        Atlantic City is north of us if you are interested in casinos and the nightlife. They also have beaches and the Ocean One Mall on the boardwalk.
There is also a Wawa convenience store near the entrance to the campground from Route 9 (within walking distance).
       For golfers the campground 'frontage' on the recently completed Sand Barrens Golf course is a real bonus!

One final observation about the location of the campground is the ease of access to the Garden State Parkway. This makes it ideal to enjoy all of the seashore's many offerings during the summer months.
