Historic Cold Spring Village is an outdoor living Museum which takes you back into a South Jersey Farm Community of the 1850's. Historic Cold Spring Village, is nestled among 22 wooded acres located at 720 U.S. Route 9, three miles north of Cape May.
Over 20 Antique structures, built between 1702 and 1897, were brought in from sites throughout Cape May County and laid out to represent a small 19th century South Jersey farming village .Authentically costumed village craftspeople demonstrate age old crafts using traditional tools, methods and materials. The blacksmith, weaver, potter, printer, carver, broomsmith and quilter practice their art throughout the day.
The Welcome center features exhibits on the history of Cold Spring, circa 1680. A video orientation program and display of marine artifacts give the visitor a preview of what they will find at Historic Cold Spring Village.
