Old Granite Inn B&B
The Old Granite Inn, located in the national historic district of Rockland, Maine, is a Federal Colonial built of gray granite that was quarried and cut in nearby St. George in the mid 1800's. Local craftsmen and master stonemasons fashioned the beautiful structure that still stands today. In the early 1900s, the building was purchased by the ELKS for their clubhouse and a large wooden ell was added. This large, stately home features colorful gardens with perennials galore and overlooks Rockland Harbor and Vinalhaven Islands. A full, bountiful breakfast is offered each morning.
