The Greek revival manor house, with more than 6,000 square feet of finished space, combines both Georgian and Federal original details to create many sumptuous rooms

Built around 1835 by landowner and judge Ara Spence, this four-part stepped house with c. 1850 2-story, center hall addition and 2-story porch was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Maryland National Trust
