Designed in the Greek Revival style of the mid 1800s, the Sylvanus Knowles House is home to our small, sophisticated bed and breakfast, pairing modern amenities with historic charm.

The Original part of the inn was built in 1690, and has been carefully restored over the past 313 years, maintaining the history with wide floorboards and sloaping plath & plaster ceilings .

The Over Look Inn offers a quiet retreat in the center of Cape Cod, only about a mile from the National Seashore.

The Inn was built in 1830 for Henry Harding, a renowned whaling captain. In the early nineteen hundreds it became a gentleman’s farm, known as Whalewalk Farm.
