The four bedroom inn was originally built in the late 1920's between the 5th and 7th greens of the Franklin Public Golf Course, and had some of the main structure renovated in 1995.

The Oak Hill Country Inn is a 2-storey, frame, late Victorian Regional Queen Anne style house. The Inn gets its name by its location. It is situated on top of a hill and is surrounded by century-old oak trees.
