Walking along the shoreline in Deal you can't help but marvel at some of the exquisite homes in this community with their spacious lawns and quiet streets. The Phillips Avenue Pavilion houses around 170 seasonal bathhouse rentals on seasonal basis but changing rooms, showers, a snack bar and free parking also are available.
Further North in Deal is a Fishing area, (See Photos below) for the anglers among us. It is currently undergoing replenishment but should be finished shortly.
The beach crowd is mainly families with young children, day-trippers from North Jersey and overflow from neighboring beaches on the weekends, but the atmosphere is quiet and laid back most of the season. A perfect beach for those looking for a quiet atmosphere without the Honky Tonk Amusement areas.
