Arriving at the Beach in Sea Girt, you will find beaches divided into sections for the activities you wish to persue. surfers will head for the beach at Philadelphia Avenue, while The north beach near the Spring Lake border is reserved for kayaking, volleyball and other beach activities. The other sections are set aside for tanning and swimming.
Restrooms and bathhouses are at Beacon Boulevard Pavilion and beach passes are available on either a daily or seasonal basis. Parking on the street is free, but you pay a price in time trying to find a spot during the in-season. The crowd is mainly family orientated and the beaches are usually quiet and peaceful. A relaxing atmosphere for those looking for a respite from city congestion. For those who like to cast their lines in the water, fishing is allowed at the foot of Trenton boulevard.
