Barnegat Township Has a Bay Beach at East Bay Avenue, which is Free and protected during the In-Season.
A Parking lot is located next to the beach and the crowd is mostly local families and guests.
A pretty long drive from the main road but the Beach area offers a gazebo and gentle bay wave action if you are concerned about younger children. There are no facilities are in the area though so this could present problems with the same age group.
