The Beachwood Beach is a small River beach located at Bayside Avenue on the mouth of Toms River. Talk about quiet....... The Beach crowd (If you would call it a crowd.....), is almost all local citizens, but the beach is protected during the season. Seasonal Beach tags are among the lowest priced at the shore and you can also obtain a seasonal parking pass at the municipal complex, located at 1600 Pinewald Road.
Restroom facilities are located near the parking lot and there is a playground for toddlers. Food Concessions are located in the area and sports equipment can be requested for the sports enthusiast. A VERY quiet beach area most of the time, it is a good place to open up a book while relaxing and soaking up the sun.
