Point Pleasant Beach |

Point Pleasant Beach is actually a stretch of sand divided into sections. The most widely known being Jenkinson Beach. Jenkinson's is a stretch of beach a little more than a milelong and runs from the Manasquan Inlet south to the amusement rides around Trenton Avenue. The Beach crowd is family-oriented and there is a ton of kiddie rides to keep the little ones busy should the need arise.
The Boardwalk has numerous steps leading to the beach and Beach passes are sold on a daily or seasonal basis. If you are not sand orientated you can walk the boardwalk and take in a variety of fast foods, or spends rolls of quarters in the 4 amusement arcades and treat the little ones to the rides consisting of a train, boat, little cars and numerous other kiddie rides geared to the younger set.
Jenkinson's also has a night club for after the little ones are worn out and you are looking for some enjoyment for yourself. An aquarium and two miniature golf courses also offer a variety of enjoyable pastimes for the little ones and parents who have had their fill of the rides.
The Beach is protected and Bathhouses and showers are available for a fee. There is metered parking along the street as well as pay parking in the beach's lots.
Risden's Beach is protected and beach passes are available on a Daily or seasonal basis. Bath house facilities are available for a fee.
Maryland Avenue Beach (Accessible from Maryland Avenue.) is a municipally run beach and beach passes are available on a daily or seasonal basis. Parking is rare and extremely hard to find and is better obtained further north and then walk to this section. There are no bath or restroom facilities located in this section.
