Back in 1995 when we started this website, we had envisioned a travel site where users could visit the world from their computers at home. We started with beautiful Cape May County and The Department Of Tourism in the State of New Jersey, and soon discovered that other sections of Jersey had historical and scenic "Treasures" that people would enjoy if only they could find them online. Victorian Cape May, and the Wildwoods, ( North and The Crest) were soon joined by Ocean City and then Atlantic City to the North. After a few months Somerset County's Public Information Office came online with a Treasure Chest of Things to do in Somerset County. We soon expanded our shore section to cover every Beach in the state with over 1200 Beach photos on-line in our New Jersey Shore Guides Section.Since our beginnings we have expanded our offerings to a world wide offering of Lodging, Attractions, Restaurants, Schools, campgrounds and other businesses and community websites that make each community unique.
As you can tell by our name, We are beachcombers, searching for treasures that will fascinate and bring enjoyment to young and old alike. Whether your tastes run to Victorian sea tales or to a walk on the wild side, Beachcomber holds it all.

Rather go camping in the mountains? Beachcomber.com is now going "Beachcamper"! You'll be able to discover all the exciting Camping opportunities the State of New Jersey has to offer from Cape May County to the uppermost points in New Jersey. The New Jersey Campground Owners Association, headquartered in Cape May Court House, is on-line at beachcomber.com. "Camping New Jersey" is not only your source of campground information throughout the State, but they also have quite a few campers favorite places to visit for area attractions in every region of New Jersey. Another addition to Beachcomber's Treasures is The Somerset County Public Information office. They have put together quite a list of Somerset County Attractions. We know you will be as pleased as we were with the quality of information they are presenting. Throughout the next few months, they will be expanding on the amount of information, on their pages.
"Beaches of The World!" is actually the original design of Beachcomber.com. A few years ago though, there were not enough on-line communities to put into the directory. Now since there seems to be an abundance of information on-line, Beachcomber.com aims to bring the best of the on-line communities to you through this section.
Our latest addition to Beachcomber's Treasure Chest is "Cities Of The World". This section allow direct access to Beachcomber's Online reservation and availability system for over 45,000 Hotels and communities throughout the world. We are currently expanding both sections to be a comprehensive travel section with Photos and a small description of the communities, and Online resources for Domestic and International Air Travel, Hotels, Car Rentals and community Links for your travel and vacation needs.
